Three Features for 3ds Max Program Updated at Fox Renderfarm!
By the tireless efforts from our Tech Dept., Fox Renderfarm recently has launched three new features for 3ds Max.
- Support VFB (V-Ray Frame Buffer)
Fox Renderfarm has supported V-Ray Frame Buffer in 3ds Max program, which means we support Render to V-ray raw image file option of the V-ray VFB and Split render channel output.
What users should notice is, uses may check the option "Enable built-in frame buffer", also "Render to V-Ray raw image file" and "Save separate render channels" in their own 3ds Max program. There is no such option on our submit system, yet the system will recognize your setting. Besides, if you check VFB, channels of Render Elements output will be turn off.
- Support all picture formats in Render Elements.
Before, Fox Renderfarm only supported TGA format in Render Element Output. Now we have worked it out to support all formats (except for AVI) and the picture output name will be added on the channel name as a prefix. Users will feel more clear and convenient when operating.
- Support rendering negative frame.
Fox Renderfarm has supported rendering negative frame in 3ds Max program, which is not supported by most of render farm.
We hope these three new features will help users find it easier and more convenient to submit render tasks at Fox Renderfarm. We will also keep digging to work out more and more new features!
