Desktop client installation (Linux)

Note: Linux client needs to be installed in centos7 and above, supporting Maya submission.

1.Open Terminal window

2.Install the client by entering the following command in the Terminal window

#Enter the linux download directory (note: root is the machine username)

cd /root/Downloads

#Download the installation package to the Downloads directory

wget "https://cdl.foxrenderfarm.com/client/desktop/qclient/web/foxrenderfarm5.0.tar.gz"

#Create foxrenderfarm5.0 directory

mkdir foxrenderfarm5.0

#Unzip gz to the foxrenderfarm5.0 directory

tar -xzvf foxrenderfarm5.0.tar.gz -C ./foxrenderfarm5.0

#Go to the foxrenderfarm5.0 directory

cd foxrenderfarm5.0

*#Create a desktop icon *

./setup.sh foxrenderfarm
