The upcoming superhero film Kraven the Hunter is the fourth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe and is set to be released in theaters on October 6, 2023. It is directed by J. C. Chandor and written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Russell Crowe, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott and Alessandro Nivola.

According to the trailer, after young Kraven gets attacked by a lion, the lion's blood mixes with his and he gains superhuman powers, which he uses to hunt and kill his enemies ever since.
