Universal Pictures shared the two-minute trailer of the horror film, "Five Nights at Freddy's," which is scheduled to be released in theaters and on Peacock simultaneously on October 27, 2023. It is directed by Emma Tammi and written by Emma, Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback, based on the video game series of the same name created by Scott. The cast includes Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Kat Conner Sterling, Piper Rubio, Mary Stuart Masterson and Matthew Lillard.
