Shortly after the release of Corona 9, the development of Corona 10 is already on the Corona team's agenda. These scenes are currently internal test scenes only, but all features are now in daily build Corona 10, daily build for 3ds Max, and will soon appear in C4D.
What's new in Corona 10?
The clouds system added in Corona 9 can only be used in realistc mode with the sun, and the color of the sun is defined by its angle in the sky. But the new feature is that you can use clouds with the sun in direct input mode, where you can select an arbitrary color by yourself.

Another new feature is that now the corona camera knows what medium it is in, and this applies to it being inside a certain volumetric material. You can also give the camera a size and display that size in the viewport. This is handy for having the camera half inside and half outside a volume.

Another effect is that the camera can now fly through volumetric materials, such as open vdbs and Phoenix simulations.

Corona 9 allows you to access chaos scanned materials. New feature is that you can drag and drop scanned materials into Corona from the File Explorer. Triplanar mapping will be supported, and then you can also customize bump and displacement to materials. Materials can be previewed in the 3ds Max viewport.

The rendering of caustics for IR resolution images played in the background has been improved.

Rendering time has also been improved when you use Corona's render selected option. When you use the render selected option to render just an object, it can show up to a 600 percent increase in speed.
