Australia’s 'Scarygirl’ Gets Its Official Trailer

Madman Films has released the trailer for "Scarygirl," a 3D action-adventure animated film from Australia that has premiered at the 2023 Sydney Film Festival and will be released in theaters later this year. Based on Nathan Jurevicius' original idea, the film is directed by Ricard Cussó and Tania Vincent, starring Jillian Nguyen, Sam Neill, Tim Minchin, Anna Torv, Liv Hewson, Mark Coles Smith, Deborah Mailman, and Dylan Alcott.

"When her world is threatened by a loss of sunlight, a young girl must overcome her fears and journey to a fantastical city, save her father from a mysterious scientist and prevent the destruction of her planet," reads the synopsis.
