It is that time of year again, and our 2025 Annecy Festival Recap is here! This year, Fox Renderfarm, the industry’s top cloud rendering services provider and render farm, was stationed at Booth B.16. We had the pleasure of meeting many of our valued clients, learning about the incredible projects we have helped bring to life, and connecting with countless new faces across the global animation community.
The Annecy Festival is an annual festival held in Annecy, France, and is home to the Mifa (Marché international du film d’animation) presentation for 40+ years! Mifa brings together a wide range of companies from around the world, not limited to companies specializing in production, animation, and rendering.

This year, 4,072 films were submitted, with only 212 films selected for screening and viewed by 18,200 badge holders. Ultimately, 35 outstanding films were honored as award winners across their respective categories.
Notable winners include:
- “Little Amélie or the Character of Rain” - Audience Award
- “Desi Oon” - Jury Award for Commissioned Film
- “Fragile Home” - Cristal Award for the Best VR Work
