CGANDWE’s New 3D challenge - 'Watermelon Girl' is Calling for Submission

Happy 2025 to everyone! 2024 was a year full of challenges and opportunities, and we believe you, as a 3D artist, have further honed your skills. As a leading cloud rendering service provider and render farm in the CG industry, Fox Renderfarm is a long-term partner of CGandWE, jointly offering 3D challenges to 3D artists. Our goal is to allow artists to refine their 3D skills through competitions, create stunning renderings, and win prizes. As the new year begins, if you're eager to start exercising your 3D skills right away, you can participate in CGandWE's latest competition - Watermelon Girl, which is inspired by SouthernShotty's amazing short film.

Submission Guidelines

Deadline: Submit by January 31st, 2025, 11:59 PM (UK Time) in the #cgandwe-030 channel of CGandWE’s discord (opens one week before the deadline).

Original Work: Use any 3D software, but ensure your primary assets are original. Background elements can use pre-made assets. All work must be completed this month.

Technical Requirements

Submit 2 renders:

• 1 final render
• 1 clay/wireframe version

Resolution: Minimum 1920x1080, Maximum 3840x2160 (16:9 aspect ratio).
