Based on the 1992 novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray, the surrealistic sci-fi comedy film, "Poor Things" will be released in theaters on September 8 this year. The film is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos from a screenplay by Tony McNamara, starring Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael, Christopher Abbott, among others.
