Disney+ has shared a new trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the fantasy TV series adapted from Rick Riordan's novel series of the same name, which is set to be released on Disney+, December 20, 2023. The series consists of eight episodes, with the first two written by Rick Riordan & Jonathan E. Steinberg and directed by James Bobin. The series stars Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood.

It is about the fantasy story of Percy Jackson, a 12-year-old modern demigod. Percy is just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when Zeus, the god of the sky, accuses him of stealing his thunderbolt. To restore order to Olympus, Percy embarks on an adventure with his friends.
